I have received notice from the following Senators that they propose to raise the following matters:

Senator Annie Hoey - The need for the Minister for Health to make a statement on transgender healthcare in Ireland and the need to move to an informed-consent model for gender-affirming care at community and primary care levels.

Senator Catherine Ardagh - The need for the Minister for Health to provide new recurrent funding for the national cancer control programme in 2024 and to commit to ring-fenced multi-annual funding to enable the full delivery of the National Cancer Strategy 2017-2026.

Senator Lorraine Clifford-Lee - The need for the Minister for Education to provide an update on the building project approved for Rush National School, County Dublin.

Senator Sharon Keogan - The need for the Minister for Education to make a statement on the reason the schoolbooks scheme for junior cycle in post-primary schools does not apply to fee-paying schools.

Senator Emer Currie - The need for the Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage to make a statement on the protection of brent geese to include the utilisation of Dublin public parks.

Senator Erin McGreehan - The need for the Minister for Social Protection to make a statement on the inclusion of children with specific dietary requirements in the hot school meals programme.

Senator Martin Conway - The need for the Minister for Health to provide an update on the provision of funding for new medicines from 2024 to 2030.

The matters raised by the Senators are suitable for discussion. I have selected Senators Seán Kyne, Annie Hoey, Catherine Ardagh, Lorraine Clifford-Lee, Sharon Keogan and Emer Currie and they will be taken now. The other Senators may give notice on another day of the matters they wish to raise.
